The Dedica is fifteen centimetres wide. That is the whole story: it fits where no other machine fits, which for small kitchens often makes it the only option.
Expect what the price implies. The baskets it ships with are pressurised and forgiving, which means they also flatten good coffee. Anyone wanting more replaces them with bottomless ones and has a surprisingly capable machine.
