The 2300 is the Philips with the LatteGo milk system at an entry-level price. Philips lists three pre-programmed drinks: espresso, coffee and cappuccino, plus hot water. Nothing more, and for many households that is exactly enough.

The milk system is the same as on the dearer 3300 LatteGo: two plastic parts with no tubes, which Philips says can go under the tap or in the dishwasher after every use. What the 3300 adds is mainly a longer menu, with latte macchiato and iced coffee.

Who for: Anyone who wants cappuccino without tubes and does not need a long menu.
