We have only recently started tracking this price. Once we have measured enough days, this will say whether now is a good moment.

Saeco has been Philips-owned for years, and that is not a footnote here: the brew group and the maintenance regime are relatives of the [5500 LatteGo](machine:philips-5500-series-lattego). The difference is milk. Where LatteGo uses two parts you rinse, the GranAroma has a chilled 600 ml carafe that goes into the fridge whole.

That is the trade in a sentence. The carafe pours more neatly and keeps milk through a morning; it is also the part that takes up room and has to be cleaned. At one cappuccino a day the LatteGo is less bother. At four in a row for guests, the carafe wins.
